Madeleine Ekegårdh is owner of Galerie Noordeinde in The Netherlands. Before turning to art she was consultant and project manager specialized in organizational change. The gallery was established in 2005 in the art street of The Hague with the highest concentration of galleries of the whole country. Galerie Noordeinde presents international contemporary art.
She is one of the people who initiated and orchestrated the unique collaboration of the 20 galleries in the district under the name of “noordeindekunst.nl”.
The gallery is presently run by her husband Frank van den Heuvel and art historian Morfo Katsantonis.Whereas she is still involved with the gallery in the background, Madeleine dedicates most of her time at a combination of art consultancy and consultancy in organizational change.
